Support 300 million VND for children in difficult circumstances

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of April 28, at the headquarters of the Provincial Children's Support Fund, the Nghe An Association in Moscow - Russian Federation visited and presented gifts to 60 children being treated at the Fund's children's support center, each gift worth 500,000 VND.

Attending the event were Mr. Nguyen Bang Toan, Director of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of the province, Mr. Vo Quoc Dung, Chairman of the Nghe An Association in Moscow, and disadvantaged children being treated at the Fund.

Previously, on April 25-27, the Nghe An Association visited and presented gifts to disadvantaged disabled children in Hung Nguyen and Yen Thanh; organized heart disease screening for children in Nam Dan, Ngi Loc and Thanh Chuong districts; and presented a charity house to children in particularly disadvantaged circumstances in Hanh Lam commune (Thanh Chuong). The total amount of support from the association was 300 million VND.

This is a meaningful volunteer work of Nghe An people who always turn to their homeland with the desire to help children who need care and protection. The gifts from benefactors will be a source of encouragement for the children to try to overcome difficulties to rise up in life.
