On September 8, the World Health Organization (WHO) said that the Ebola epidemic in Liberia is spreading exponentially, with thousands of new cases in just a few weeks.

The number of deaths from Ebola in Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia, and Nigeria has reached 2,100, the disease has spread to Senegal, with 1,089 deaths in Liberia alone. WHO said the number of infected people will increase to 20,000 cases in the next 6-9 months. The Liberian government has extended the night curfew to prevent the disease, but the newly opened Ebola treatment centers are already full, and the number of cases has increased beyond expectations. In particular, the source of the spread of the disease is being identified as means of transport such as taxis and motorbikes.
