Preparing for the low tourist season of the year, autumn and winter, localities and tourism businesses are implementing a series of stimulus programs.

Mr. Jackie Han, Representative of Hoabinhtourist & Convention Travel Company said: “During this low season, there are almost no individual tourists. The customers who book tours are mainly businesses, conference and seminar organizations combined with tourism and honeymooners, so the tour prices have been reduced a lot. To attract customers during the low season, we have applied the most preferential prices for customers registering for tours and increased promotional programs. All tours are discounted by about 15%, some tour prices are even reduced by up to 40% compared to peak months.”

According to Mr. Nguyen Xuan Binh, Director of Da Nang Tourism Promotion Center, this year Da Nang has launched a campaign to stimulate MICE demand in the low season. Accordingly, Da Nang tourism businesses will commit to reducing service packages by 5 - 40%.

Many famous tourist areas of Vietnam are selected in MICE tourism programs of travel agencies specializing in organizing this type of tourism such as Phu Quoc, Ho Chi Minh City, Hue, Nha Trang, ... combined with tourist characteristics such as: Flood season in the Mekong Delta, Hanoi in autumn, buckwheat flower season in Ha Giang, ... These places can not only conduct sightseeing tours and picnics in fresh, cool climate conditions, but are also ideal for organizing conferences and events.
