(Baonghean.vn) - For three days, from October 14th to 16th, a delegation of officers and trainees from the advanced officer training course of the Royal Cambodian Army at the Vietnam People's Army Political Academy, led by Major General Nguyen Minh Khai - Deputy Director of the Political Academy, conducted a field trip to study the history and traditions of the Armed Forces of Military Region 4 and the experience of political work in Military Region 4.
Major General Nguyen Tan Cuong - Alternate Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff; and Major General Tran Tien Dung - Deputy Political Commissar of Military Region 4, received and worked with the delegation.

Working at the Headquarters of Military Region 4, the delegation listened to Major General Nguyen Tan Cuong's report on the history and traditions of the Military Region's armed forces and the recent economic, cultural, social, national defense, and security development in Military Region 4. The Deputy Commander-in-Chief emphasized: The Vietnam People's Army in general, and the armed forces of Military Region 4 in particular, under the leadership and guidance of the Communist Party of Vietnam and President Ho Chi Minh, directly under the Central Military Party Committee, and with the support and care of the Party committees and people of the six provinces in the region, have always upheld the fine qualities and glorious traditions of Uncle Ho's soldiers: Loyal to the Party, devoted to the people, determined to fight and win against all invading enemies; closely connected to the people, always serving the whole country.

In this new era, the armed forces of Military Region 4 have consistently upheld their political resolve, steadfastly following the path chosen by the Communist Party of Vietnam and President Ho Chi Minh. They regularly integrate the "Determined to Win" emulation movements with the promotion of "Studying and Following the Moral Example of Ho Chi Minh"; maintaining high levels of unity and solidarity, together with the Party committees and people of the six provinces, they have creatively applied the Party's guidelines on national defense, successfully achieving goals and targets, and creating a strong foundation for economic development coupled with the consolidation of national defense and security.

Colonel Luong Hong Phong, Political Commissar of the Nghe An Provincial Military Command, shared with the delegation of officers and trainees of the Royal Cambodian Army's senior officer training course at the Vietnam People's Army Political Academy some information about the socio-economic situation, the lives of the people in the area, and models and lessons learned in building the armed forces of Nghe An province.
Besides successfully fulfilling their training and combat readiness duties, the provincial armed forces have consistently coordinated closely with mass organizations and the people to build a solid defense posture. Implementing the Party's reform process, the Nghe An armed forces have always maintained their political steadfastness, firmly following the path chosen by the Communist Party of Vietnam and President Ho Chi Minh.
On behalf of the delegation, Major General Nguyen Minh Khai, Deputy Director of the Academy, thanked the Party Committee of the Provincial Military Command for creating the best conditions for the delegation to conduct research and study. The delegation will study and apply the good models and experiences of the provincial armed forces to teaching and learning in the future.
On this occasion, the delegation of officers and trainees also offered incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh at the Kim Lien historical site in Nam Dan district; and visited and studied the practical activities of ideological work, organization, and policy in local and main force troops at the 206th Armored Brigade.
