Thanh Chuong, Hung Nguyen: Implementing Central Resolution 9 (Session XI)

(Baonghean.vn) - On August 12, localities in Nghe An province organized to study and disseminate the Resolution of the 9th Conference - Central Executive Committee of the Party (11th term).

* On the morning of August 12, Thanh Chuong District Party Committee organized to study, disseminate and implement the Resolution of the 9th Conference - Central Executive Committee of the Party (11th term) on "building and developing Vietnamese culture and people to meet the requirements of sustainable national development"for nearly 300 key delegates at district and grassroots levels and party members, party committees of Party and mass organizations.

Delegates were introduced and thoroughly grasped the Conclusions and main issues oriented at the 9th Central Conference. These were: Resolution on "Building and developing Vietnamese culture and people to meet the requirements of sustainable national development"; "Some policies on Party building and preparation for the 12th National Party Congress"; "Election regulations within the Party"; taking a vote of confidence in the spirit of Resolution 4 of the 11th Central Committee on Party building. The Conference focused on delving into the Resolution on "Building and developing Vietnamese culture and people to meet the requirements of sustainable national development". The Resolution also clearly stated 6 tasks: building Vietnamese people to develop comprehensively, building a healthy cultural environment; building culture in politics and economics; improving the quality and effectiveness of cultural activities; developing cultural industries in parallel with building and perfecting the cultural market and proactively integrating internationally in culture, absorbing the quintessence of human culture.The Resolution also proposed four groups of solutions: continuing to innovate the Party's leadership method in the cultural field; improving the effectiveness and efficiency of state management of culture; building a team to do cultural work; and increasing resources for the cultural field.

After this conference, Thanh Chuong District Party Committee will continue to direct the dissemination of the resolution to each Party cell and Party member. From there, it will create unity in ideological awareness and action, build political capacity and sense of responsibility in implementing the resolutions of Party organizations at all levels in line with the implementation of tasks of agencies and units in the area.

* On the morning of August 12, the Standing Committee of Hung Nguyen District Party Committee held a conference to study, disseminate and implement Resolution No. 33 of the 9th Conference of the Party Central Committee (11th tenure) on "Building and developing Vietnamese culture and people to meet the requirements of sustainable national development".

Delegates listened to district-level reporters convey the basic contents of Resolution No. 33-NQ/T.Ư, emphasizing the achievements in implementing Resolution 5 of the Central Committee (8th term) in building and developing Vietnamese culture and people, the goals, viewpoints, 6 tasks and 4 groups of solutions in implementing the Resolution.

From the assessment of the cultural development situation of the district in recent years, the Standing Committee of Hung Nguyen District Party Committee has built an Action Program to implement the Resolution of the 11th Party Central Committee on "Building and developing culture and Vietnamese people to meet the requirements of sustainable national development".

The program has set out the goal of building and developing culture and people in a comprehensive direction, so that culture truly becomes a solid spiritual foundation for society, an important endogenous strength to ensure sustainable development and firmly protect the Fatherland, for the goal of "rich people, strong country, democracy, fairness, civilization".

The Standing Committee of Hung Nguyen District Party Committee requests that Party committees and authorities at all levels closely direct the organization of research, dissemination, completion before September 15, 2014, and development of an action program to implement the Resolution of the 11th Party Central Committee on "Building and developing Vietnamese culture and people to meet the requirements of sustainable development of the country". The development of an action program must closely follow the specific situation of the locality and unit; assign organizations and individuals to take responsibility, regularly check the implementation; actively propagate, guide and mobilize all classes of people to build and develop Vietnamese culture and people to meet the requirements of sustainable development of the country in the spirit of the Resolution and action program of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee.
