Tens of thousands of people visited General Vo Nguyen Giap over the weekend.

(Baonghean.vn) -Vung Chua - Yen Island, Quang Dong Commune, Quang Trach District, Quang Binh Province - where the tomb of General Vo Nguyen Giap is located, every day many people from all over the country come here to offer incense and flowers to express their respect and gratitude to the General of the people who lived his whole life for the people and the nation.

On Saturday and Sunday alone, February 15 and 16, thousands of groups with about 20,000 people from provinces and cities across the country came to pay their respects to General Vo Nguyen Giap. In addition to groups organized by organizations, agencies, units, and businesses, many families organized groups of ten to several dozen people to visit the General's tomb to pay their respects.
