Nghi Thuy Ward - Cua Lo Town: Implementing Decree 67/CP

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of September 29, 2014, Nghi Thuy Ward - Cua Lo Town held a conference to implement Decree 67 on supporting fishermen to build offshore boats for boat owners in the Ward.

Over 30 boat owners out of a total of 43 offshore fishing vessels in Nghi Thuy Ward - Cua Lo Town attended the conference. At the conference, the boat owners were introduced to the regulations of Decree 67.

According to Decree 67, in the case of building new steel-hulled ships, ship owners can borrow capital from commercial banks up to 95% of the investment value for ships with a capacity of over 400CV, with an interest rate of 7% per year, of which the ship owner must pay 1% per year of interest and the state budget supports 6% per year; in the case of building new wooden-hulled ships, the maximum support is 70% of the investment value with an interest rate of 7% per year, of which the state only supports an interest rate of 4% per year. The loan term is 11 years, in which the ship owner is exempted from interest in the first year and does not have to pay the principal...
