Implementing the program "Breeding cows to help border people"

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of August 5, 2014, in Vinh City, the Steering Committee of the Program "Joining hands for the community" and Viettel Nghe An Branch held a signing ceremony of a cooperation agreement to implement the program "Breeding cows to help the poor in the border areas".

Comrade Le Xuan Dai - Member of the Provincial Party Committee - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Program Steering Committee and representatives of Viettel Nghe An branch, Nghe An Border Guard, Red Cross attended and signed the minutes of cooperation to implement the program.

"Joining hands for the community" program - Viettel Nghe An donates 100 breeding cows to help people in the border area

From now until the end of 2015, the Program Steering Committee will widely disseminate the purpose of the program “Breeding cows to help the poor in the border areas” to agencies, businesses and individuals, select supported households, hand over and provide guidance on raising cattle. Viettel Nghe An Branch is responsible for purchasing cattle suitable for the border environment, coordinating with the Steering Committee to organize the handover of cattle and completing financial procedures.

According to a representative of Viettel Nghe An, the program is also a bridge for Viettel customers to have the opportunity to support the poor people in the border area, contributing to the socio-economic development of this area.

Also at the ceremony, Viettel Branch presented the Program with 100 breeding cows worth 1.5 billion VND.
