Yen Thanh summarizes the movement of good farmers and businessmen

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of August 29, 2014, the Farmers' Association of Yen Thanh district held a conference to summarize the movement of good farmers in production and business, period 2012-2014. Attending the conference was comrade Nguyen Thi Hai - Vice President of the Provincial Farmers' Association.

This is one of the three major movements of the Farmers' Association at all levels. In Yen Thanh district alone, in the past two years, the movement of good production and business has been effectively implemented by the associations from the district down to the grassroots level and achieved outstanding results. Up to now, the whole district has 10,087 households of Farmers' Association members achieving the title of good production and business at all levels, compared to 6,751 households in 2012 (an increase of 66.9%).

Of which, the number of households achieving the title of good production and business households at the commune level is: 8,850 households, the number of households achieving the title of good production and business households at the district and commune level is: 980 households, the number of households achieving the title of good production and business households at the provincial level is: 230 households, the number of households achieving the title of good production and business households at the central level is: 27 households. There are many Yen Thanh farming households with large production and business models with an income of 200 million VND or more/year. The most noteworthy thing is that these typical examples of good production and business are available right at the grassroots level, so they have a very convincing impact on people in the area, to be widely replicated.

At the conference, 47 individuals were awarded certificates of merit by the District People's Committee for their outstanding achievements in the emulation movement for good production and business in the period 2012 - 2014. The conference also elected 10 typical individuals to attend the provincial conference in the coming time./.
