Hung Dong commune, Vinh City, is recognized as having met the standards for a new rural area.

(Baonghean.vn) - Based on the Law on the Organization of People's Councils and People's Committees dated November 26, 2003;Based on Decision No. 491/QD-TTg dated April 16, 2009 of the Prime Minister promulgating the National Criteria Set for New Rural Areas, Decision No. 342/QD-TTg dated February 20, 2013 of the Prime Minister on amending some criteria in the National Criteria Set for New Rural Areas, Decision No. 800/QD-TTg dated June 4, 2010 of the Prime Minister on approving the National Target Program on New Rural Area Construction for the period 2010 - 2020, and Decision No. 372/QD-TTg dated March 4, 2014 of the Prime Minister on considering and announcing localities that meet the standards of New Rural Areas;

Based on Circular No. 41/2013/TT-BNN&PTNT dated October 4, 2013, of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development guiding the implementation of the National Criteria Set for New Rural Development; Considering the proposal of the People's Committee of Vinh City in Submission No. 2988/TTr-UBND dated June 25, 2014, and the proposal of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development in Submission No. 2070/TTr-SNN-

Following the request from the People's Committee of the province on July 4, 2014, for recognition of the commune as meeting the new rural standards, on July 9, 2014, the Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 3200/QD-UBND recognizing the commune as meeting the new rural standards.

DECISION:

Article 1.Hung Dong commune, Vinh city, Nghe An province is recognized as having met the standards for New Rural Development in 2014 according to the National Criteria for New Rural Development.

Article 2.The Steering Committee of the National Target Program for Building New Rural Areas in Vinh City and Hung Dong Commune is responsible for continuing to maintain and improve the quality of the criteria already achieved in the coming period.

Article 3.The decision takes effect from the date of signing.

The Chief of the Provincial People's Committee Office; Directors of provincial departments and agencies; Head of the Provincial Emulation and Commendation Board; Chief of the Provincial Coordination Office for the National Target Program on Building New Rural Areas; Chairman of the Vinh City People's Committee; Chairman of the Hung Dong Commune People's Committee; and heads of relevant agencies and units are responsible for implementing this Decision.
