Hung Son (Anh Son): Maintenance and repair of rural roads

On August 14 and 15, the Party Committee and people of Hung Son Commune (Anh Son) organized a campaign to maintain rural roads. Hung Son Commune is a commune on the west bank of the Lam River, 12 km from the center of Anh Son District. The commune has 885 households and 3,990 people, the number of Catholics is 1,335 people, accounting for 33% of the population. The commune has 9 villages, 5 of which have Catholics including villages 1, 6, 7, 8, 9, of which 2 villages 8 and 9 are Catholic villages.
The delegation of leaders of Anh Son district, including comrades Le Hong Vinh - Secretary of the District Party Committee, Thai Doan Huu - Permanent Deputy Secretary, comrades in the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee and Heads and Deputy Heads of the district's functional departments, coordinated with the leaders of Hung Son commune and priest Ho Sy Huyen - Priest of Dong Lam parish (Hung Son) to directly inspect and encourage the Catholic people of Hung Son commune to maintain rural roads.
On the roads, Catholic and non-Catholic people in the commune have been working together to clear sewers, repair roads and sidewalks. Many households have voluntarily donated land, such as Mr. Phan Van Tung's household in village 5, who donated 315m2Land and crops on land, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa's household, Village 4, 120m22... many households voluntarily demolished and dismantled obstacles, trees, and fences encroaching on traffic safety corridors; maintained, expanded roads, sidewalks, and increased the lifespan of roads that had been invested in and built in the commune. During this campaign to maintain and repair roads, the Catholic and non-Catholic people of Hung Son commune actively and enthusiastically joined hands to clean and clear the road corridors, clearing about 22 km of road.
