“Since 2008, when I was in charge of the federation here, the Vietnamese team has had 6 friendly matches with the Korean Student team and we have never won. Today we won very convincingly.
Some people may say that the Korean Student team is not strong. But I know that they always choose the best team every year. Especially when the Korean people never want to lose to a small country like us," VFF President Le Hung Dung said excitedly.
As the head of VFF, Mr. Dung affirmed that the Vietnamese team won yesterday (November 4) (3-0) thanks to their superiority in both physical strength and technique. At the same time, the former President of the Ho Chi Minh City Football Federation is very confident in the strength of the Vietnamese team, after the best possible preparation period.
He emphasized: "We won because our physical strength was good, our technique and team coordination were superior, and in general the team's expertise was much better than before.
I sat down with sponsor Dentsu, they asked about the Vietnam team as well as the prospects of the upcoming AFF Cup. The ball has not rolled yet so it is impossible to say for sure. But in my opinion, the Vietnam team under coach Miura has the best quality in many years.

Vietnam team has 2 more friendly matches with Palestine and Malaysia on November 9 and 16. I believe that those will be 2 good matches.
Looking back at the victory over the Korean Student team, it can be seen that the technical, tactical and thinking skills, especially the physical strength of the Vietnamese team, have improved greatly compared to previous years.
In previous years, at the 70th minute, we would run out of breath and the Korean students would score. Today, we are completely different. Without being subjective, I think we are slightly better than the Korean students. That is a very happy thing."
Not just inviting MU is good “I think we should not have illusions about our strength. In training matches, I think we should only invite average or slightly better teams. We cannot invite teams like MU to test. It is good that the Vietnamese team won, we should not worry about "trying to make a sound, but it will be useless". The Vietnamese team has had the best preparation and is in the best form in recent years", Mr. Dung affirmed. |
