Since its establishment, the Hung Nguyen Education Promotion Association has done a good job of promoting and mobilizing organizations, individuals, communes, towns, and the people to contribute, support, and award scholarships to outstanding students and underprivileged students who have strived to excel in their studies.

In the first nine months of 2014 alone, the district-wide education promotion association contributed 1.937 billion VND to the education promotion fund and awarded scholarships to tens of thousands of teachers and students. Effectively implementing education promotion activities is a practical way to encourage students' learning, while also supporting those from disadvantaged backgrounds with the will to strive for academic excellence. To date, nine units have held their grassroots education promotion congresses.

On this occasion, the district leaders commended and acknowledged the association's efforts over the past period, serving as a bridge to convey the concern and assistance of the Party committee, the government, and philanthropists, creating conditions for many children from disadvantaged backgrounds to have more willpower and determination to overcome difficulties and excel in their studies.
