The commemorative speech by principal Nguyen Thi Kieu Huong reviewed the glorious tradition of 55 years of construction and growth of Do Luong 1 High School. Do Luong 1 High School, formerly Anh Son High School, was established in 1959, with the goal of improving people's knowledge, training human resources, and nurturing talents for the western districts of Nghe An province. Over the past 55 years, the school has always promoted solidarity, cohesion, creativity, pioneering, overcoming all difficulties and challenges to successfully complete the task of educating the younger generation. The school has trained more than 26,000 graduates, including 2,300 provincial-level excellent students, 3 national excellent students, and more than 14,000 students passing the university entrance exam, including many valedictorians and salutatorians. The school has been in the top 200 high schools nationwide for many years with students achieving high scores in the university entrance exam. The school's teaching staff has been recognized as an excellent advanced unit at the provincial level 43 times.
In 1994 and 2009, the school was honored to receive the Third and Second Class Labor Medals from the President. Do Luong 1 High School achieved national standards in 2010 and achieved quality standards for the period 2013 - 2018... In the coming years, Do Luong 1 High School aims to maintain the title of National Standard School, striving to become a Heroic Labor Unit in the new era.
