(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of August 27, the Youth Union of the Department of Health organized the Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union for the 2014-2016 term. The Congress had 189 official delegates from 11 agency Youth Union branches. Attending and directing the Congress were representatives of the Youth Union of provincial agencies and the Party Committee of the Department of Health.

During the 2010-2014 term, the Youth Union of Nghe An Department of Health has performed well the tasks of the Youth Union as well as the youth movement and achieved many positive results in all aspects of work. Organized free medical examinations and medicine for people and gave gifts to poor children in Yen Tinh commune - Tuong Duong district; carried out well the activities of "Repaying gratitude", "Border and island affection", visited and gave gifts worth 30 million VND to the soldiers of Dao Mat Island, donated over 90 million VND to support people affected by natural disasters and floods; Youth Union members of the Youth Union volunteered to donate 400 units of blood to save people; In 2013 alone, 6 youth union members participated in the youth creativity movement to research 3 grassroots-level topics, etc.
