The 11th generation Toyota Corolla Altis mid-size sedan has just been officially launched in the Vietnamese market.

It can be said that the strong change in exterior design has made the new generation Corolla Altis no longer reminiscent of previous generations. Especially the stylized T-shaped front end, the center of the radiator grille is slimmed down starting from the Toyota logo extending to both sides.

The LED headlights and daytime running lights are first equipped on the 2.0V CVT-i version. Meanwhile, the 1.8G version is equipped with halogen headlights with high and low beams and position lights, arranged adjacent to the radiator grille.

The rear of the car is also designed in a T-shape with embossed lines extending to both sides. The rear lights and bonnet are seamless with decorative panels.

Corolla Altis has overall dimensions of 4,620 mm long, 1,775 mm wide and 1,460 mm high. In this generation, the wheelbase of Corolla Altis is extended by 100 mm, the overall length is increased by 80 mm and the height is reduced by 5 mm, thereby helping to make the interior space more spacious, especially the legroom for rear passengers.

The front of the car has a drastically changed design compared to previous generations.

The car is equipped with headlights with automatic shut-off function, electric luggage compartment, rearview mirror with automatic anti-glare function integrated with rear camera screen display (version 2.0V CVT-i). The car is equipped with automatic air conditioning system, 3-spoke leather-wrapped and silver-plated steering wheel with integrated control buttons and gear shift paddles, 10-way power driver's seat. The sound system includes 1-disc DVD, 6 speakers, touch screen, USB/AUX/Bluetooth connection...

The interior design brings quite a few surprises.

The 11th generation Corolla Alits in the Vietnamese market has 3 versions. Of which, 2 versions are equipped with a continuously variable transmission: 2.0V CVT-i and 1.8G CVT, the version equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission is 1.8G MT. The highest-end version 2.0V CVT is integrated with the Dual VVT-i intelligent variable valve timing system.

Safety equipment on the car includes anti-lock braking system (ABS), electronic brake force distribution (EBD) and emergency brake assist (BA). The 2.0V CVT version is equipped with electronic balance system (VSC), traction control system (TRC), rear camera, corner sensor and rear sensor.

The new generation Toyota Corolla Altis has just appeared on the market with a retail price of 757 million VND for the 1.8G MT version, 807 million VND for the 1.8G CVT version and 944 million VND for the 2.0V CVT-i version.
