(Baonghean) - Recognizing the important role of teachers, the education sector has had many solutions to improve the quality of the team, contributing to improving teaching and learning efficiency. Currently, the teaching staff of our province is more than 50,000 people, 100% of whom meet and exceed the standards, making it one of the localities with the most consistent quality of teachers.

In recent years, Dang Chanh Ky Secondary School has always been the leading school in Nam Dan district in terms of training quality and the number of students winning prizes in the district and provincial excellent student competitions. Particularly in the 9th grade provincial excellent student competition in the 2013-2014 school year, the school had 25 students participating in the competition, of which 22 won prizes, the rate of excellent students in the district every year is over 90%. This result is partly thanks to the efforts of the students, but above all thanks to the efforts of the teachers in the school. Speaking more about this achievement, teacher Nguyen Thi Thu - Vice Principal of the school shared: Dang Chanh Ky School is always considered a key school in Nam Dan district, so each teacher of the school, besides the pride of teaching at a school with good quality, must also strive to improve their qualifications to meet the requirements of the task. We believe that only with good teachers can we have good students, so the school pays special attention to improving the quality of the teaching staff as well as creating all conditions for teachers to be able to promote their qualifications and abilities. Currently, the whole school has a total of 45 teachers, of which 100% are qualified; the number of teachers above standard, with university and master's degrees is also up to 43 people.

Continuously improving their expertise and qualifications is also the way that teachers at Anh Son Town Kindergarten show their responsibility to their profession and their students. Currently, with the application of information technology and electronic lesson plans, preschool teachers must make a lot of effort. In addition to regular teaching, teachers must also be knowledgeable in music, art and many other gifted subjects. Clearly recognizing that, teachers at Anh Son Town Kindergarten constantly improve their expertise and qualifications. Thanks to that, currently 26/26 teachers in the school are qualified, the rate above standard is 80%.

Discussing the current quality of the teaching staff of Anh Son district, Mr. Nguyen Duc Vinh - Head of the Education Department of Anh Son district added: The entire education sector of the district has more than 1,800 cadres and teachers and up to now, 99.6% have met the standards and 89% have qualifications above the standards. This number, compared to 5 years ago, has increased by 11.9%. The upgrading of teacher standards has contributed greatly to improving the quality of education of the entire sector and most clearly, the general quality has been raised nearly 10 levels, from the previous 16th and 17th positions to the 5th and 6th positions. The rate of students achieving excellent students the following year is always higher than the previous year. However, Mr. Nguyen Duc Vinh also admitted: Although the number of teachers who have met and exceeded the standards is quite high, most of the teachers are only trained in the form of in-service training and distance learning. Therefore, in addition to meeting standards, testing to assess the actual quality of teachers is very necessary. To do this well, in recent years, every two years the district has organized a competition for excellent teachers to assess the actual capacity of teachers. In addition, every year, on-site professional training is organized, quality is assigned to schools and teachers through students' learning results, encouraging the movement of writing innovative experiences and introducing policies to encourage teachers to improve their professional qualifications and professional training such as rewards, early salary increases, etc.

Up to this point, Nghe An is one of the leading provinces in the country in screening and improving the quality of teachers, and most specifically, in implementing teacher classification and assessment according to Decision 86 and Decision 109 from more than 5 years ago. Of which, more than 3,000 teachers who did not meet health, working conditions and qualifications were resolved to retire early. The training and upgrading of teachers' standards have also been of interest to the industry, schools and localities. Since then, 100% of teachers teaching preschool and general education have met training standards, raising the rate above training standards in preschool to 76.4%, primary school to 88.6%, secondary school to 82.3%, high school to 20.3%. This is also the best target that the education sector has achieved according to the target set by the 16th Provincial Party Congress.

Mr. Chu Van Long - Head of the Department of Personnel Organization, Department of Education and Training, said: This result is largely due to the teachers' self-awareness, self-organization of training, self-promotion of learning to improve professional qualifications and skills. From here, educational institutions in the province have the conditions to set standards for selecting educational managers at all levels to be good teachers, with professional qualifications above training standards. At the same time, with the organization of the campaign "Each teacher is a model of morality, self-study and creativity", many examples of dedication to the profession have appeared and become "shock soldiers" on the cultural and educational front, contributing significantly to putting Nghe An's education sector firmly in the top of the country.
