Hoang Mai organizes Blood Donation Day

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of January 10, the Blood Donation Campaign Committee of Hoang Mai town coordinated with the Hematology and Blood Transfusion Center of Nghe An province to organize the first "Voluntary Blood Donation Festival" in 2015.

With the message "A drop of blood given - A life left behind", "Sharing a drop of blood - Giving hope", the festival attracted the participation of many classes of people, from officials, civil servants, students, union members, youth to workers in 10 wards and communes across the district.

Although the voluntary blood donation festival took place in extremely cold weather, with a noble humanitarian spirit, this morning, many people were present and completed the procedures to donate blood.

According to registration, there are about 300 people participating in this blood donation, including many youth union members who have donated blood many times. It is expected that from this blood donation, there will be an additional 300 units of blood.
