Bayern and Chelsea win convincingly.
Early this morning, October 22nd, in the Champions League group stage, Bayern Munich delivered a top-class performance, completely defeating AS Roma with a resounding 7-1 victory at the Olimpico stadium.
Bayern needed only 35 minutes to achieve an incredible victory against AS Roma, the team currently second in Serie A. The home team's nightmare began in the 9th minute. After a display of his familiar skill down the right wing, Arjen Robben played a one-two with Phillip Lahm to completely bypass the AS Roma defense before curling the ball past goalkeeper De Sanctis, giving the Bavarians a 1-0 lead.

Having scored an early goal, Pep Guardiola's team took control of the game. Inevitably, in the 23rd, 25th, 30th, and 35th minutes, Mario Gotze, Robert Lewandowski, Arjen Robben, and Thomas Muller (penalty) all scored, sealing a 5-0 victory for Bayern before halftime.
In the second half, the German representatives adopted a solid defensive style of play, aiming to maintain the scoreline. However, AS Roma only managed a consolation goal in the 66th minute, before substitutes Franck Ribery and Xherdan Shaqiri scored two goals in quick succession in the 78th and 80th minutes, helping Bayern Munich crush AS Roma 7-1.
Having won all three matches, Bayern Munich firmly hold the top spot in Group E with 9 points and have virtually secured a place in the knockout round.
In another match, Chelsea also set the scoreline like a tennis set, with a 6-0 victory over NK Maribor.
