Ha Duy - Hoang Yen won 'Perfect Couple 2014'

After 9 weeks of competition, on the evening of January 18, the final round of Perfect Couple 2014 took place at Nguyen Du Stadium, Ho Chi Minh City with the participation of 7 pairs of contestants. The total score for the pairs includes 50% of the final week's score, 50% of the total score of the previous weeks. The score is converted from audience votes and judges' scores at the studio.

The Gold Prize was awarded to Ha Duy - Duong Hoang Yen, the team that achieved the perfect score in the final night and also achieved the highest total converted score in the previous weeks. They received a prize worth 200 million VND.

The Silver Prize of the program went to Van Trang and Quoc Dai. They received a prize worth 100 million VND.

Jennifer Pham and Duc Tuan won the Bronze prize. Tu Vi - Bui Anh Tuan also tied for third place with the same converted score. Each team received a prize worth 50 million VND.

The final night opened with the performance of Dinh Huong and Nhan Phuc Vinh. They chose a sad love song. The male actor still made mistakes in pitch, had to rely on his co-star to "support" his voice quite a lot. Because of the tension, both were commented by judge Thanh Bach that they did not express their emotions well in the middle of the song. They received three 9s from the judges.

Not using any tricks on the last night, Que Van and Nam Cuong just stood still and sang a Bolero medley of 2 songs "Kho vi ai" and "Dem cuoi".

Bui Anh Tuan and Tu Vi still choose their forte, lyrical songs, which suit both of their inner strengths. They combined two songs "Where love begins" and "Where love returns" to tell a love story with a happy ending for the audience. While Bui Anh Tuan excelled with the "hit" that made his name, Tu Vi sang below her ability. Quang Linh praised Bui Anh Tuan for having a beautiful smile and advised him to show more on stage.

Duc Tuan and Jennifer Pham brought a joyful Tet atmosphere with the song "Listen to Spring Returns". The beauty queen sang very enthusiastically, so sometimes she lacked control in her voice. There were some parts where she strained her voice or sang out of tune. However, Jennifer Pham's efforts each week were still highly appreciated by the judges.

Van Trang and Quoc Dai had quick costume changes on stage, from ancient to modern costumes. They transformed into Nguu Lang and Chuc Nu, who were tested in love through many lives.

Whether they are humans in the modern world or robots from the future, they are still loyal and steadfast. The performance was highly appreciated for its stage design, however, Van Trang's voice was exposed in many parts in the last song.

Ha Duy and Duong Hoang Yen "went crazy" on stage with the familiar song "Chiec Khan Pieu" with a modern arrangement. Both were still considered a pair of contestants with equal voices and harmonious, well-coordinated performances. They also chose rock-style outfits to match the song. Bao Lan commented: "This is the most modern and best version of Chiec Khan Pieu I have ever heard". Both received a perfect score of 30.

Minh Thu - Minh Trung is the couple that closed the final night with the song "Nu Cuoi Con Mai", reminiscent of Wanbi Tuan Anh. Judge Quang Linh affirmed that he loves this contestant couple the most in the program because of the carefree, innocent but very responsible spirit that they show.
