With the fall of Nanjing Mayor Li Jianye and Nanjing Party Secretary Yang Weize, the “Jiangsu gang” (officials who rose up from Jiangsu province) is a widely discussed topic in China.

Last week, Xinhua News Agency published an article on its blog saying that Yang Weize's "fall from horse" was of great significance to the anti-corruption campaign in Jiangsu Province, eastern China, and could very well bring the "big tiger" to light.

According to Hong Kong's Oriental Daily on January 13, the "big tiger" that Xinhua's blog referred to is the current Vice President of China, Li Yuanchao, who held leadership in Jiangsu from 2000-2007, then took on the position of Head of the Central Organizing Committee at the 17th Congress.

The “Jiangsu State” originated from the “Suzhou phenomenon” and prospered under Li Yuanchao, who was the leader of Jiangsu and head of the Central Organization Department.

The latest news from Beijing in the February 2015 issue of “Ming Jing” magazine (published ahead of schedule) confirms that Mr. Li Yuanchao’s most serious problem is his collusion with Ling Jihua.

Currently, the future of Mr. Ly Nguyen Trieu has entered the countdown period./.
