(Baonghean.vn) - On January 16, Mr. Lee Suk Woo - Mayor of Namyangju, Gyeonggi Province (Korea) and his delegation visited and worked in Vinh City.

Receiving and working on the side of Vinh city were comrade Vo Viet Thanh - Member of the Standing Committee, Secretary of Vinh City Party Committee, leaders of Vinh City People's Committee, representatives of the Department of Foreign Affairs, Department of Planning and Investment.

Nearly 10 years ago, in November 2005, Vinh City and Namyangju City, Gyeonggi Province (South Korea) established a sister city relationship in the fields of economy, culture, education, youth, etc. Since then, the relationship has been maintained and developed. In terms of economy, some Korean enterprises have started to sign business contracts with enterprises in Nghe An. At the meeting, the two sides discussed in depth the solutions to promote the cooperative relationship in 2015 and the following years, especially promoting investment and economic cooperation. Vinh City leaders proposed that Namyangju City implement a project to display and introduce products of Korean enterprises on the 3rd floor of Vinh Market, cooperate to build a kindergarten in Vinh City or a road in Vinh City. The Mayor of Namyangju City happily acknowledged the proposals of Vinh City leaders.
