Quynh Luu: More than 110 million VND to support the poor during Tet

(Baonghean.vn) - Responding to the Provincial Party Secretary's appeal letter to support the "Tet for the Poor 2015" fund, Quynh Luu District Party Committee directed the district's Fatherland Front to develop a plan, content, objects and amount of support.

Accordingly, each cadre, worker and civil servant donates at least 1 day's salary, and for companies, charitable contributions are based on the company's revenue and profit. After 4 days of responding to the Provincial Party Secretary's appeal, many agencies, units and enterprises in Quynh Luu district have registered to donate to the fund with the desire to join hands to bring a warm and happy Tet to the poor.

As of the afternoon of January 19, 2015, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quynh Luu district has received 110 million VND in donations to the fund. Some businesses and companies have taken donations from the welfare fund for the poor, such as: Hong Dao Co., Ltd., Minh Quang Co., Ltd., Thai An Thanh Co., Ltd., each donated 20 million VND. Cat Linh Pagoda - Vinh city alone donated 25 million VND to the Tet fund for the poor in Quynh Luu./.
