Nghe An: 82 high school students win national awards.

(Baonghean.vn) - According to information from the Department of Examination and Quality Assurance of Education, Ministry of Education and Training, at the 2015 National High School Excellent Student Examination, the Nghe An delegation continued to achieve high results, ranking 3rd nationwide with 82 students winning awards (after Hanoi and Hai Phong cities), with students winning awards in all subjects.

This year, Nghe An province had 102 students participating in the National Excellent Student Competition, across 11 teams, all of whom are students from Phan Boi Chau Specialized High School. The results showed that 82 students won prizes, including 1 first prize, 31 second prizes, 32 third prizes, and 18 consolation prizes.

Subjects where 100% of students participated in the competition all achieved high awards, such as Mathematics with 8 second prizes, 1 third prize, and 1 consolation prize; Physics with 1 first prize, 4 second prizes, and 5 third prizes; and Chemistry with 9 second prizes and 1 third prize.

Thus, with this result, Nghe An continues to be among the top provinces nationwide in terms of achievements in the National Excellent Student Competition.

For the specialized classes at Vinh University, out of 30 students who participated in the competition, 18 won prizes, including 6 second prizes, 6 third prizes, and 6 consolation prizes.

According to projections, Nghe An will have approximately 20 students continue to participate in the second round of the selection exam for students to join the international and regional gifted student teams in 2015.
