Improving quality management in educational institutions.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of February 9, 2015, the Department of Education and Training organized a workshop on Quality Management in Educational Institutions: Current Situation and Solutions. Representatives from many universities, colleges, and school administrators in the province attended.

The delegates attending the workshop gave their opinions.

With 12 presentations, the workshop focused on clarifying issues related to quality management in educational and training institutions; the current state and solutions for quality management in secondary and primary schools; solutions to improve the quality of teachers and high schools in mountainous areas; and measures to improve the management of education for students with special needs.

Through this workshop, the shortcomings in quality management mechanisms in educational institutions have been fully recognized. These include a management system that is heavily reliant on subsidies and bureaucracy, lacking creativity and leading to inefficiency in resource utilization and management. Many policies, mechanisms, and solutions are no longer appropriate; the quality of education, especially higher education and vocational training, has not met the requirements of industrialization and modernization; and quality management, inspection, and supervision have not been given due importance. The contributions will serve as a basis for the Association of Comprehensive Psychological Sciences to supplement and develop appropriate solutions to improve the quality of management in educational institutions in the future, with management reform being considered a breakthrough in enhancing the overall quality of education.
