(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of February 1, the Union of Friendship Organizations of Nghe An province organized a friendship exchange to celebrate the Year of the Goat 2015 with international students and volunteers.
Attending the conference were comrade Nguyen Xuan Son - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Chairman of the Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations; representatives of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and a number of provincial departments, branches and sectors; Nghe An Provincial Friendship Associations and a large number of international students and volunteers studying at universities and colleges in Vinh city.

At the meeting, through discussions and exchanges, delegates, international students and volunteers affirmed that the people's foreign affairs activities in 2014 were continued to be innovated by the Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations and Nghe An Friendship Associations, bringing about many practical results. Regularly monitoring and grasping the international situation, creating multi-dimensional and diverse relationships with many traditional partners and strengthening and expanding international relations. The Provincial Union and Friendship Associations also proactively organized friendship exchanges on the occasion of National Day, holidays and important events of countries around the world; organized meetings and exchanges with many foreign business delegations, creating opportunities to attract investment in the province.

In addition, the Union of Friendship Organizations and Provincial Friendship Associations have organized many cultural and artistic exchange activities, enhancing understanding of culture and people, promoting the image of Vietnam in general and Nghe An in particular among international students and volunteers and vice versa, contributing to improving Vietnamese language for international students and volunteers; organizing for students and volunteers to visit historical and cultural relics, famous landscapes and many meaningful volunteer activities.
