The Ministry of Health has just set up a hotline number to answer people's questions about information about the measles-rubella vaccination campaign.

People can exchange detailed information by calling the hotline of the Department of Preventive Medicine (Ministry of Health) at: 096.385.1919.

Call center staff will answer questions related to the measles-rubella vaccination campaign and provide information to people with children in the age group covered by this vaccination campaign.

Recently, the Ministry of Health's measles-rubella vaccination campaign was deployed for more than 23 million children, achieving a vaccination rate of over 95% for children from 1 to 14 years old at the commune, ward and town level nationwide.

The latest campaign implementation results as of October 6, according to a quick report from localities: 26/63 provinces have implemented the campaign, the remaining 37 provinces will be implemented from now until the end of October.

The number of children vaccinated is more than 757,500 children, reaching 44% of the total number of subjects in the first phase of the implementation areas.

The above campaign aims to implement Directive No. 29/CT-TTg dated September 17, 2014 of the Prime Minister on organizing the implementation of measles and rubella vaccination in the 2014-2015 Expanded Immunization Program.

The campaign aims to reduce the incidence of some dangerous infectious diseases in children, contributing to the elimination of measles by 2017 and reducing the disease burden of congenital rubella syndrome./
