Defeating Andy Murray with the scores of 7-6(5), 6-7(4), 6-3, 6-0 in the final, Novak Djokovic won the 2015 Australian Open. This is his 5th Australian Open championship and the 8th Grand Slam championship of his career.

With this title, Nole is only 1 title behind Australian legend Roy Emerson in Australian Open history.
However, if counting from the open era (1968), he is the greatest tennis player with 5 titles in 2008, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2015.

This is also Djokovic's fourth consecutive victory over Murray at the Australian Open, including three matches in the final.
After this tournament, Novak Djokovic continues to hold the world number 1 position, while Murray will return to the top 3.
