Vinh City deploys concentrated livestock slaughter in Nghi Phu commune

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of February 3, Vinh City had a working session with Nghi Phu commune and small-scale livestock slaughterhouses to prepare for centralized livestock slaughter at Truong Lan Service and Co., Ltd.

Vinh City held a meeting to deploy concentrated livestock slaughtering at Nghi Phu.

Currently, in Nghi Phu commune, there are 45 households slaughtering livestock. The slaughtering households mainly operate at home, not ensuring conditions regarding area, environmental hygiene at the slaughterhouse and food hygiene and safety.

Centralized slaughterhouse of Truong Lan Trading and Service Company Limited

Truong Lan Trading and Service Company Limited has a slaughtering capacity of 250 animals/day and night. At the meeting, the slaughterhouses raised difficulties and problems, and proposed some solutions for implementing slaughtering animals at the centralized slaughterhouse.

At the end of the meeting, Vinh city leaders requested households, starting from February 5, 2015, to bring their livestock to Truong Lan Trading and Service Company Limited for slaughter. With a slaughter capacity of 250 animals/day and night, city leaders also requested that the company ensure conditions regarding location, equipment for slaughter, environmental treatment... At the same time, the city veterinary station assigned staff to control the input of livestock and poultry before slaughtering. Households slaughtering livestock in Nghi Phu commune have signed a commitment to carry out centralized livestock slaughter.
