According to the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, option 1 is more harmonious and suitable because there will be no intermittent working days, and the number of days off before and after Tet will not be too different. This option also receives high consensus because it is suitable for Vietnamese customs and practices and the wishes of workers.

The Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs said that the swap helps to have longer holidays, facilitate people's travel, reduce the increase in traffic density during holidays and Tet with a short break; reduce pressure on transport units, help transport units serve people better during holidays and Tet; create conditions for workers to participate in cultural activities and festivals, contributing to stimulating consumption.

Nhan Dan Newspaper further informed that the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs believes that implementing the Lunar New Year holiday schedule and exchanging weekly days off according to option 1 is harmonious and suitable because there will be no too interrupted working days, and at the same time, the number of days off before and after Tet is not too different.

This option is also considered suitable for Vietnamese customs and practices and according to the wishes of workers, so it is proposed to implement Lunar New Year holiday according to option 1.

3 options for holidays: Hung King's Commemoration Day, Victory Day April 30, International Labor Day May 1

The Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs also presented three plans for the holidays of Hung Kings' Commemoration Day, Victory Day April 30, and International Labor Day May 1.

Option 1: Just swap one work day with one day off every week.

On the occasion of Victory Day 30/4 and International Labor Day 1/5, civil servants and public employees will work on Saturday, 25/4/2015 and have a day off on Wednesday, 29/4/2015.

This holiday is close to Hung King's Commemoration Day (April 28, 2015). Therefore, after the swap, on this holiday, civil servants and public employees will have consecutive days off from April 28, 2015 to May 3, 2015, for a total of 6 consecutive days.

Option 2: Civil servants and public employees go to work on Saturday, April 25, 2015, to have Monday (April 27, 2015) off. Then, civil servants and public employees go to work on Saturday, May 9, 2015, to have Wednesday (April 9, 2015) off.

After the swap, civil servants and public employees will have 8 consecutive days off from April 26 to May 3, 2015.

Option 3: Do not swap the weekly rest day for this holiday. The rest day will be interrupted twice in a row, each time by one working day.

The Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs believes that option 1 is more harmonious and suitable because it solves the problem of having a working day between days off. At the same time, the number of consecutive days off is not too long, so it is recommended to take this holiday according to option 1.
