National Assembly delegates give gifts to poor households in Pha Danh commune (Ky Son)

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of February 13, National Assembly deputies of Nghe An province, including Mr. Nguyen Duc Hien - Member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Head of the National Assembly's Petition Committee and Ms. Vi Thi Huong - Deputy Director of the Southwest Regional General Hospital, continued to visit Pha Danh commune, Ky Son district to give gifts to poor households on the occasion of the Lunar New Year.

Accompanying the delegation were representatives of the Office of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province, the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development, Nghe An branch, and representatives of the leaders of Ky Son district.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Hien gave a speech wishing the people of Pha Danh commune a Happy New Year.

Pha Danh Commune is located nearly 15 km from Muong Xen town, has over 600 households but poor households account for 68.3%. Meeting with the people, the National Assembly delegates visited, encouraged and presented 40 gifts, each worth 500 thousand VND to 40 poor households with special difficulties. Mr. Nguyen Duc Hien - Head of the National Assembly's Petition Committee sent New Year wishes to the poor households and hoped that they would welcome the Year of the Goat with many new joys.
