Funeral of Mr. Nguyen Ba Thanh with high-level ceremony

On the afternoon of February 13, the Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the Central Internal Affairs Committee, the Da Nang City Party Committee and the family deeply regretted the passing of Mr. Nguyen Ba Thanh.
The news report stated that the funeral of Mr. Nguyen Ba Thanh was held according to high-level funeral rites. The funeral began at 2:30 p.m. on February 14 (December 26) at his private residence, No. 189 Cach Mang Thang Tam Street, Khue Trung Ward, Cam Le District, Da Nang City.

Touched by the love and affection of the people for Mr. Nguyen Ba Thanh, a family member said: "The family really wanted to open the door so that everyone could see his face for the last time from the afternoon of February 13. However, due to limited space while there were many people who loved him, the family was worried that the reception would not be thoughtful."
The memorial service for Mr. Thanh will take place from 9:30 a.m. on February 16 (December 28, Lunar New Year). Mr. Thanh will be buried at the family cemetery in Hoa Tien commune, Hoa Vang district, Da Nang city.
