The 12-minute video, titled “Inside Aleppo,” was posted on social media by IS and features Cantlie touring Aleppo. Directly in front of the camera, Cantlie, wearing a brown jacket and black pants, says “this will be the last episode of the documentary series.”
Reuters reported that since falling into the hands of the Islamic Jihadist Group IS, photojournalist John Cantlie has appeared five times in videotapes to promote the organization about the war situation as well as the group's victories in major cities in Syria.
Journalist John Cantlie, a war photojournalist, was kidnapped by IS in Syria along with American journalist James Foley in January 2012. Journalist Foley was brutally executed by IS in August 2014./.
