"National Great Unity" Festival in Nua village, Yen Khe commune
(Baonghean.vn) - In the atmosphere of celebrating the 84th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam National United Front (November 18, 1930 - August 11, 2014) and the National Great Unity Day in residential areas initiated and chaired by the Vietnam Fatherland Front, on the morning of November 13, ethnic people in Nua village, Yen Khe commune, Con Cuong district organized the National Great Unity Day in residential areas.
Sharing the joy with the villagers were comrades Vo Van Tien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Vi Xuan Giap - Provincial Party Committee member, Secretary of Con Cuong District Party Committee.

Ban Nua has 152 households and 676 people, of which 99% are Thai ethnic people. In recent years, the ethnic people of Ban Nua have united, competed to develop production, helped each other to eliminate hunger, reduce poverty, and enrich themselves legitimately. Although the economy of the people only relies on agricultural production in difficult conditions, thanks to the promotion of the spirit of self-reliance, self-reliance, and mutual assistance, the people have exploited the available advantages of each family to organize production and livestock raising. In addition to producing rice, corn, peanuts, and beans, the people have also built a number of models of growing tea and oranges with high economic value. People of all ethnic groups have united together to build new rural areas; build a strong political system, maintain and promote the title of Cultural Village for 6 consecutive years.

The Great Unity Festival took place in a lively atmosphere, people were excited, contributing to creating spiritual motivation for people to continue to unite to build a cultural life in residential areas, to build increasingly prosperous families and villages.
Within the framework of the Great Unity Festival, the leaders of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, the commune and Nua village organized the planting of “Great Unity” trees at the village’s cultural house and started the construction of a “Great Unity” house for Mr. Lo Van Hung’s family, one of the poor households in difficult circumstances in the village.

Speaking and presenting gifts to the people of Nua village in the "National Great Unity Day", the leaders of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and Con Cuong district expressed their joy and excitement at the results that the cadres and people of Nua village have unanimously and unitedly achieved in recent years, contributing to making the village a typical village of Con Cuong district.
