Vinh bus station adds 52 passenger buses to the southern provinces
(Baonghean.vn) - Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tu - Deputy Head of Vinh bus station said: "Currently, all tickets to the southern provinces are sold out, we have called in more than 52 outside buses to the station to serve, to meet the needs of the people. In particular, the ticket price to the southern provinces has increased by more than 60% compared to normal ticket prices, while the ticket price to the northern provinces has increased insignificantly.

According to research, illegal buses outside the management of Vinh bus station have increased ticket prices to Ho Chi Minh City up to 1,800,000 VND. Although the ticket prices are very expensive, many people still have to accept to take them.
Regarding the situation of traffic insecurity or the phenomenon of overcrowding at Vinh bus station, Mr. Nguyen Cong Hau - Captain of the Inspection Team of Region 1, Nghe An, said: "From the days before Tet until now, the inspection force has coordinated with functional forces to strictly inspect and control bus companies.Therefore, the bus companies under the management of the bus station and Vinh city area must not allow phenomena such as soliciting, stuffing, and price increases without permission... If we discover such cases, we will resolutely handle them."
According to data from the Traffic Police DepartmentNghe An province, during the 9 days of Tet, traffic police recorded 616 cases, of which 127 were passenger vans. The number of passenger vans carrying more passengers than the prescribed number was 12, there were 6 cases of overloading, some vehicles did not ensure technical safety, stopped and parked illegally.
