Con Cuong Police: Arrested two suspects for property theft

(Baonghean.vn) - On October 15, Con Cuong district police organized the return of stolen property to the victim and at the same time prosecuted and temporarily detained two subjects, Lu Van Thuan, born in 1984, residing in Ke Trai village, Thach Ngan commune, Con Cuong, and Vi Van Be, born in 1986, residing in Trung Thanh village, Luc Da, for the crime of theft of property, total value of 14 million VND.

Through investigation, the subject Lu Van Thuan confessed that at around 01:30 on October 9, 2014, together with Vi Van Be, he broke into Mon Son Kindergarten 1 using pliers to cut the lock of the principal's room and 2 other rooms, took 02 disc players, 01 amplifier, 01 amplifier reader, then sold them to Vi Van Binh (1990) in Lang Xieng, Mon Son for 1.2 million VND. Then, at 12:00 on October 10, 2014, Thuan and Be went to Lang Thi Thuong's house in Don Phuc commune to play. When they entered the house and saw no one was home, Thuan immediately took the MXNEC brand phone that was charging and left on the bed and pawned it for 500,000 VND.

Con Cuong District Police returned property to the people.

Currently, the Investigation Police Agency of Con Cuong District Police has prosecuted and temporarily detained Lu Van Thuan and Vi Van Be for the crime of Theft of property, and prosecuted Vi Van Binh for the crime of Receiving property from another person's crime.
