(Baonghean.vn) - These days, tens of thousands of people in Yen Thanh district, known for its rice production, are eagerly flocking to the sacred Duc Hoang Temple in Phuc Thanh commune to witness various festivities and prepare for the main ceremony on the 1st day of the 2nd lunar month.
This year marks the 13th anniversary of the Duc Hoang Temple Festival organized by the District People's Committee and the Phuc Thanh Commune People's Committee, featuring many vibrant and enriching activities that connect with the ancestral roots. Starting on March 17th (the 27th day of the first lunar month), the sacred Duc Hoang Temple hosted various sports and folk games: men's and women's volleyball competitions among communes in the district; card games, cockfighting, drum performances, bridge walking, rice cooking, fishing, stilt walking, stick pushing, and tug-of-war.
