(Baonghean.vn) - These days, tens of thousands of people in Yen Thanh rice district eagerly head to the sacred Duc Hoang Temple in Phuc Thanh commune to witness many festival parts, preparing for the main festival day on February 1 (Lunar calendar).
This year is the 13th year that the District People's Committee and the People's Committee of Phuc Thanh commune have organized the Duc Hoang Temple Festival, with many exciting and useful activities, oriented towards the origin. Starting from March 17, i.e. January 27, at the sacred Duc Hoang Temple, sports and folk games were organized: men's and women's volleyball competitions of the communes in the district; card chess competitions, cockfighting, drum beating, bridge crossing competitions, rice cooking, fishing, stilt walking, stick pushing, tug of war.
