Barca could be fined because of Ronaldo.

The La Liga organizing committee (LFP) has announced it will investigate the incident in which Barcelona fans insulted Ronaldo during the match between Barca and Levante at Camp Nou.

Barcelona fans mocked Ronaldo's birthday celebration after Real Madrid's 0-4 defeat to Atletico Madrid by chanting "Ronaldo is drunk" from the stands at Camp Nou during the recent match between Barca and Levante.

This behavior immediately attracted the attention of La Liga's governing body. They stated they would investigate the incident by reviewing match footage and examining fans' social media activity, and would submit the evidence to La Liga's Anti-Violence Committee. Furthermore, the LFP (La Liga Football Federation) also wants to apply similar evaluation standards to those used at the Bernabeu after Real Madrid fans insulted Messi during a match last year. If the LFP presents the case to La Liga's Anti-Violence Committee, Barca could face fines and even the closure of part of Camp Nou.

The LFP's announcement of an investigation into the abusive behavior of Cules towards players is a strong step forward for Spanish football in curbing disruptive and provocative behavior by fans, following the death of a Deportivo fan in a brawl outside Atletico's Vicente Calderon stadium late last year.

LFP chairman Javier Tebas said that chanting insults at players constitutes "symbolic violence" and could lead to physical violence.
