The owner of the car carrying the perpetrator who murdered Mr. Nemtsov appeared.
On March 1, Russian police found the owner of the Lada VAZ-21102, the car suspected of transporting the perpetrator of the assassination of Mr. Boris Nemtsov.
According to LifeNews TV channel, the car owner, Oleg Koloev, was detained in Zelenograd when he turned himself in to the police station. Koloev also said that on the evening of February 27, when the murder occurred, he and his children were walking in Red Square, then he crossed the Big Moskvoresk Bridge to his home in Zelenograd and the next morning he saw his car on television.

Earlier in the day, police said Nemtsov’s killer likely fled in a silver VAZ-21102 with North Ossetian license plates. According to LifeNews, the car had not been registered since 2011 and its previous owner lived near Vladikavkaz. Surveillance video from central Moscow shows several similar vehicles.
The Russian Investigative Committee has announced a reward of 3 million rubles for information that could lead to the murder of Mr. Nemtsov. The Investigative Committee has also asked anyone who witnessed the murder or has relevant information to report it to the hotline established by the committee or the phone number of the investigation headquarters.
On the same day, US Secretary of State John Kerry said Washington wanted to see a “real, transparent, thorough investigation” into the murder of Russian opposition politician Boris Nemtsov.
Mr Kerry said US intelligence did not know who was behind Mr Nemtsov's death in Moscow.
“The bottom line is we hope to have a real, transparent, thorough investigation that finds not just who fired the shots but whoever ordered or directed or was behind this,” Kerry said on ABC’s “This Week.”
On February 27, Mr. Nemtsov was shot dead in Moscow, Russia, just two days before he was to lead a large opposition march to protest the Russian government./.
