(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of December 16th, under the chairmanship of Comrade Tran Hong Chau - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Sub-committee for the 18th Provincial Party Congress, the Sub-committee held a meeting to assign tasks to each member and agree on upcoming tasks.

Attending the meeting were Comrade Le Quang Huy – Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; and representatives from several provincial departments and agencies.

Comrade Tran Hong Chau chaired the meeting.

According to the plan, the Subcommittee will have 6 teams serving the congress, including a team for propaganda and ceremonial work; a team for protocol, documentation, and official duties; a logistics team; a team for receiving citizens; a team for organizational work; a team for security and order; and a team for the meeting hall.

After listening to the members of the subcommittee serving the congress discuss and clarify the general tasks of the subcommittee and each service team, Comrade Tran Hong Chau concluded, emphasizing that, in addition to propaganda through mass media, attention should be paid to propaganda through clusters of billboards and posters along key routes and areas such as National Highway 1A, National Highway 46, the Ben Thuy Bridge area, Vinh Airport, etc. Therefore, it is necessary to ensure the conditions to effectively carry out the propaganda requirements and create momentum throughout the province.

Comrade Tran Cong Duong - Chief of the Provincial Party Committee Office - reported on the work plan of the subcommittee serving the congress.

Comrade Le Quoc Khanh - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Department - added tasks to the organizational working group.

For the logistics team, attention should be paid to supplementing the medical staff to ensure healthcare for delegates attending the congress. The public reception team should focus on the location for receiving citizens; the organizational working group should pay attention to advising on the composition of guests invited to the Central Congress, other provinces, and within the province, and at the same time coordinate with the personnel subcommittee to review the conditions to ensure that the personnel election process meets the requirements.

The security and order team paid attention to ensuring smooth traffic flow and transporting delegates. The meeting hall team focused on ensuring electricity supply for the congress and maintaining the cleanliness of the meeting hall.

Overview of the meeting

Comrade Tran Hong Chau requested that the service team conduct a review of the facilities in the meeting hall where the congress will take place to ensure timely additions and repairs, with the deadline for acceptance of all items being August 30, 2015. Based on the assigned plan, if any problems arise during implementation, the service teams are requested to report to the subcommittee for timely resolution, ensuring the best possible service for the congress.
