The Music and Press Club of the Vietnam Musicians Association and the Vietnam Journalists Association have just announced the results of the vote for the 10 most outstanding music events of 2014. Topping the list is the Nghe Tinh Vi-Giam folk song event, which was recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in November 2014.

Next, the Vietnam Musicians Association was awarded the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces by the State in December 2014. Position 6 is the activities of the Vietnam Symphony Orchestra: the first performance of the monumental symphony work Mount Alps op.64 (R.
