In the near future, President Vladimir Putin of the Russian Federation will be using a brand-new mode of transportation. It's a luxurious limousine sedan, specially designed for the head of state and manufactured by Russian automotive industry.

Although the new type of official vehicle has not yet been officially named, its basic technical specifications have been revealed to the press by Alexey Borovkov, Director of the Engineering Center of Saint Petersburg Polytechnic University.

Accordingly, this specialized type of vehicle is equipped with an extremely powerful V12 engine, with a displacement of 6-7 liters and a power output of 800-850 horsepower.

The unique engine design was created by Russian engineers, while its manufacturing took place in collaboration with technical experts from Porsche SE, the German manufacturer of the renowned Porsche and Volkswagen brands.

The special limousine will be delivered to the Russian President's Office later this year.

"Our foreign colleagues are constantly amazed by our design, even giving the new engine the nickname 'King of Engines'," added Director A. Borovkov. "According to them, this super-powerful engine could be fitted to a new generation of small jet aircraft."

According to Director A. Borovkov, the new Russian President's official vehicle is equipped with the most advanced technology, fully capable of protecting its occupants from surprise attacks.

The vehicle incorporates a state-of-the-art communication system, ensuring continuous connectivity to the country's key government agencies under all conditions.

The vehicle weighs 6 tons when in motion, equivalent to an average civilian truck. Experts agree that this special limousine for the Russian head of state is the safest and most modern in the world, even more advanced than the Cadillac DTS "Beast" that US President Barack Obama uses.

The construction of President V. Putin's presidential limousine is part of the "Kortez" project, with an upfront funding of 8 billion rubles (109 million euros), aimed at researching and producing vehicles for high-ranking Russian officials.

Accordingly, by the beginning of 2017, all government officials were required to use domestically produced cars, ending the practice of using state funds to import vehicles from abroad.
