Tan Ky: Rewarding brave young man who saved victim

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of February 25, 2015, the People's Committee of Tan Ky district came to burn incense to express condolences and presented a certificate of merit from the Chairman of the People's Committee of the district to Bui Dang Hoi, born in 1995 in Tan Dong hamlet, Dong Van commune for his brave action in saving the victim.

Previously, on the afternoon of February 22, 2015, the 4th day of the Lunar New Year 2015, after going to wish everyone a happy new year, Hoi's classmate Nguyen Van Tuan took a boat to Thanh Chuong dam, Tan An commune, but unfortunately the boat capsized. Seeing this, Bui Dang Hoi and Nguyen Van Ha swam out to save their friend despite the danger. Because they were still wearing clothes, after saving their friend, Bui Dang Hoi was exhausted and sank, leading to his death.

Local authorities and many people came to offer condolences to Hoi's family.

In recognition of Bui Dang Hoi’s brave actions, the Chairman of Tan Ky District People’s Committee decided to award a certificate of merit and a bonus of 3 million VND. On this occasion, the government and relevant departments and agencies also came to burn incense and offer condolences to Hoi’s family./.
