Launching the contest to learn about 70 years of tradition of Vietnam People's Public Security

(Baonghean.vn) - On March 31, the Ministry of Public Security held a national online conference on coordination with the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union to organize a contest to learn about the 70th anniversary of the tradition of the Vietnam People's Public Security and the 10th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection.

Lieutenant General Nguyen Xuan Muoi - Deputy Director General of the General Department of Construction of Public Security Forces and Comrade Le Quoc Phong - Secretary of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union co-chaired the Conference. At the Nghe An bridge point, there were Colonel Nguyen Tien Dan, Deputy Director of the Provincial Police, Colonel Dao Hong Lap, Deputy Director of the Nghe An Fire Prevention and Fighting Police and representatives of the Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Nghe An province attending the Conference.

Towards the 70th anniversary of the People's Public Security Day (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2015) and the 10th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2015), in order to widely propagate and educate the young generation and the masses about the glorious tradition of 70 years of building, fighting and growing of the Vietnam People's Public Security, on March 24, 2015, the Ministry of Public Security and the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union issued a plan to coordinate the organization of activities to celebrate major holidays in 2015. With the coordination contents such as: propaganda activities, political education with the theme "Following the footsteps of heroes", organizing research competitions, writing, multiple choice and painting competitions for teenagers and children, organizing games simulating the resounding feats of arms of the People's Public Security; Organize trips to the source, charity activities, support families with revolutionary contributions and social security activities, volunteer for the community and major activities; coordinate the implementation of youth projects and tasks.

To thoroughly grasp the content of the online conference, the leaders of Nghe An Provincial Police requested the Provincial Police Youth Union Executive Committee to coordinate with the Nghe An Provincial Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Executive Committee to urgently complete the contents to launch the contest according to the time the Ministry of Public Security had thoroughly grasped.
