(Baonghean.vn) - Tomorrow afternoon (March 19th), the two semi-final matches of the U19 National Championship will take place at Vinh Stadium. Despite the absence of the host team SLNA, all four teams that reached the semi-finals performed excellently in the group stage, and all four teams are representative of the youth football training centers in Vietnam today.

The first semi-final, taking place at 3 PM, will be a clash between Viettel, one of Vietnam's leading youth football training centers, and VPF. Therefore, the match is highly anticipated as both teams are eager to win and reach the final for the first time in a long time. Furthermore, the competition is also exciting from the coaching benches, as both teams are led by coaches who were previously famous players from Vietnam's "golden generation" of football: Nguyen Hong Son (Viettel) and Huu Dang (VPF).

In this year's group stage, Viettel won all three matches and scored 11 goals. The outstanding performances of their two strikers, Duy Thuong and Ngoc Son, have made Viettel highly regarded for their ability to attack opponents' goal. Confidence was evident in yesterday's training session. Meanwhile, the VPF players are from the first generation selected for the VPF training program. Therefore, these players have trained together for nearly seven years, so they understand each other very well on the field. In addition, the physical fitness of the VPF players is among the best in this year's finals. Although they only secured their place in the semi-finals in the final match of the group stage, they remain one of the contenders for the championship this year.

The second semi-final match, scheduled for 5 PM, will be a clash between HN T&T and Long An. Coach Minh Duc's team is considered stronger than Long An, thanks to their well-balanced squad across all three lines and the effective counter-attacking tactics they've demonstrated in their three previous matches. Furthermore, as the defending champions, HN T&T is determined to defend their title. Long An, on the other hand, boasts a strong fighting spirit. In their final group stage match, they staged a miraculous comeback, scoring five consecutive goals to snatch the qualifying spot from Thua Thien Hue. Therefore, underestimating Long An could be costly. Coach Nguyen Kim Hung's team aims for the final, promising an exciting match.

Match schedule for March 19th:

Semi-final 1 (Vinh Stadium): Viettel – VPF

Semi-final 2 (Vinh Stadium): HN T&T – Long An
