The comedian is the first overseas artist to be included in the list of Meritorious Artists selected by Ho Chi Minh City.

The People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City has just announced the results of the eighth consideration for the title of "People's Artist" (NSND) and "Meritorious Artist" (NSUT). Hoai Linh is on the list of 25 individuals nominated for the title of NSUT.

Hoai Linh shared: "I was really touched when I received this announcement. This is a great honor for an overseas artist like me to return to my homeland to serve the audience. I am trusted by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, giving me the motivation to continue to strive for my career and mentor other young actors."

Hoai Linh was born into a family of six children (three boys and three girls). He is the third child and the eldest son in the family. His parents are from Dai Loc, Quang Nam. In addition to his ability to dance, sing folk songs, and perform comedy, Hoai Linh can also sing modern music. But for him, comedy is the most suitable.
