9 action and horror movies coming to Vietnamese theaters in April

“Fast & Furious 7” and “Avengers: Age of Ultron” are the two blockbusters that kick off the summer movie season and are also the two most anticipated films in theaters this month.

1. Fast & Furious 7(watch trailer)

Release date: April 3

The blockbuster, which cost $250 million to produce, is the opening film of this summer's movie season. It is the seventh installment of the Fast & Furious action series and also the final film of the ill-fated actor Paul Walker, who passed away in a car accident in late 2013. Detective Hen Ry is a horror comedy film directed by comedian Tan Beo and starring in the main role. The film is about a "tragic road" where a girl died in a traffic accident. Three years later, the wife of a man named Huy (played by Ai Chau) seeks out detective Henry (Tan Beo) to investigate her husband's mysterious accident on the same mysterious road. Together with his beautiful assistant (Nhi Katy) and a criminal police officer (Truong The Vinh), Henry follows clues to investigate the legend of the "ghost in white".

In April, in addition to meeting audiences again in the blockbuster Avengers: Age of Ultron, black actor Samuel L. Jackson also has an action movie Big Game. Marvel superheroes will sweep Vietnamese cinemas in late April and into May with the blockbuster Avengers: Age of Ultron – one of Hollywood’s most popular films this year.
