(Baonghean.vn) - Every Saturday and Sunday, volunteer groups in Nghe An province set out to give gifts to people in particularly difficult areas.
During the past two days off, the volunteer groups “People I Care For”, “Tu Tam Club”, “Charity Travel” came to Khe Bung village, Mon Son commune, Con Cuong district. Khe Bung village is located in the core area of Phu Mat National Park, with 105 households of the Dan Lai ethnic group, and the people’s lives here are still very difficult…
The gifts that these volunteer groups brought to the local people included many blankets, clothes, warm towels, books for students and 1.1 tons of rice. These gifts were made possible thanks to the contributions of many kind-hearted individuals. The total value of the gifts was nearly 40 million VND.
