Israeli media described the result as a "big victory" for Mr. Netanyahu. However, the formation of a government will still depend on coalition negotiations between the country's other political parties.

Earlier, Prime Minister Netanyahu declared a "big victory" after exit polls showed his Likud Party tied with the Zionist Union in the general election held on March 17./.
