Commendation for the Thai Hoa Town Police Department for their achievements in solving the case.

(Baonghean.vn) - On October 27, the leaders of the Nghe An Provincial Police presented a letter of commendation from the Provincial Police Director and awarded 5 million VND to the special task force of Thai Hoa town police for their achievement in uncovering a large-scale dog theft, dog trafficking, and drug possession and use ring.

Representatives from various departments congratulated the special task force.

As previously reported, at 5:00 AM on October 23rd, the Thai Hoa Town Police raided the house of Trinh Thi Huong, catching five suspects red-handed: Mai Van Chau, born in 1976, residing in Chu Ty town, Duc Co district, Gia Lai province; Nguyen Buu Loc, born in 1982, residing in Buon Ma Thuot city, Dak Lak province; Nguyen Huu Bang, born in 1986, residing in Nam Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district; Phan Van Hoang, born in 1991, residing in Duy Tien ward, Thai Hoa town; and Vu Hoang Cong, born in 1985, residing in Duy Tien ward, Thai Hoa town, for the crime of dog theft and trafficking. The seized items included five motorcycles, dozens of electric shock devices, fishing rods, knives, swords, four cans of pepper spray, four bottles of chili powder, a slingshot, and four fake motorcycle license plates... tools used by the suspects to steal dogs and to resist arrest. Here, the police also seized 2 kg of marijuana, 3.5 grams of methamphetamine, 0.50 grams of heroin, numerous methamphetamine paraphernalia sets, and 38 dogs kept in cages.

For this achievement, the Thai Hoa Town Police Department received a letter of commendation and a reward of 5 million VND from the Director of the Provincial Police Department. On this occasion, the People's Court and the People's Procuratorate of Thai Hoa Town also presented flowers to congratulate the special task force.
